A portion of every transaction I am involved in will be donated towards supporting low-income and homeless families in our communities as part of the Windermere Foundation. This non-profit organization began in 1989 and includes ten states that have raised over $27 million for programs and organizations that provide shelter, clothing, children’s programs, emergency and transitional housing, subsidized costs for services such as employment counseling, placement and training, day care, scholarships and other services to those who need our help the most.
A significant portion of these dollars go toward programs that help children. Establishing and funding literacy programs, underwriting the costs of summer camp, and providing basic necessities such as new school shoes, socks, and underwear, are among the many projects that the Windermere Foundation supports. We believe that building a child’s self-esteem is an investment in our future.
